Here Google names it as “Google Algorithm Site Diversity Change” With this new update, Google search to stop sites from appearing multiple times in top search results.

Use of Update: Mainly this Update is to bring search diversity in Google search results. It restricts the search results from showing the same domain more than a time for a particular keyword or query.

Update to roll on:- As it was Pre-Announced that the update will be on-air by June 3rd but under some circumstances, they had to shift their deployment plan to 6th June 2019.

New Diverse Search Result:- Based on feedbacks heard and review done from SEO’s and Internet Suffers over the past years, Google analyzed that today Google search result shows the same domain more than 5 times for some keywords and which has become an odd factor for search results.

So Google says, “This update is designed to bring new search diversity in our search results” Google adds, “By this site diversity Google revamps you usually won’t see no more than two same sites in search results.

How it affects Sub Domain:- Google says, “Google Site Diversity Change will treat subdomains as the main domain”.

So if there is a domain www.services.example.com then here it treats it as www.example.com because Google says, “Site diversity will treat subdomains as root domain”. IE: Listing from subdomain and root domain from now own will be considered as Root Domain.

Previous Update:- Previously Google’s algorithm was released in the same year 2019 March and was named as March 2019 Core Update. Here refer to some major Google Algorithms Find more updates here.
